The WIRE SLITTER has been conceived for small block cutting and producing quoins from sandstone.

The strong steel frame has been designed to ensure good rigidity levels and precision during all the cutting phases. It is composed of a full steel frame linking aluminium flywheels sized by Ø380mm reducing the diamond wire fatigue and also helping wire spinning around its own axis, preventing in this way its ovalization.

The driving flywheel is powered by a 5.5kW (7.5hp) asynchronous motor and a pneumatic system granting tension on the wire during the cutting.
