The new LUCA 360 is a 4 axis saw designed and built for the person who needs an accurate and versatile saw at an affordable price. The LUCA 360 composed of one main beam (bridge), which travels on two rails for the long travel (forward and reverse movement). The monolithic design makes this machine very easy to install and right in construction.

Unlike the classic bridge saws, this machine is equipped with a 360º rotating head instead of a rotating table. This feature makes the machine quicker as the operator can save time by rotating the head to 90º. Four movements (X,Y,Z,ROT) of the machine are controlled by an NC system. The X and Y axis are interpolated to allow angle cuts over the XY plane, with accompanying pneumatic blade tilt from 0 º to 45 º.

The up and down movement has limits that can be set for quick and easy adjustment and positioning of the blade's level. The automatic cutting system has different settings which give the operator great flexibility in their work. After the initial menu the machine has a MANUAL and AUTO menu. In the MANUAL menu the operator can visualize the position of the machine at any time. He can also enter a single measurement, press IN or OUT and the machine will move and stop at the desired position. In the AUTO menu the operator can program 9 different cuts and each one can be repeated 99 times. Once you press the START button the machine will execute the cuts at the desired speed. The system calculates the thickness of the blade at each programmed movement.
